Features / Get Reviews
Get more Google reviews without pestering anyone.
Get Reviews sends a customer one text with your review link, follows up by email on a schedule you pick, and stops automatically the moment their review lands. Every plan includes the review link, QR code, and one-time requests; automated follow-up campaigns are a Business plan feature.
The three campaign presets
- Once: one text on day zero, done. This is the Basic plan mode.
- Remind: text on day zero, then emails on day 3 and day 7. The default for Business.
- Persist: text on day zero, then emails on days 2, 5, and 9. That is the ceiling; there is no preset that nags harder, on purpose.
Every sequence stops early for one of three reasons: the review landed, the customer opted out, or the steps ran out.
One text, ever
The first touch is the only text message a customer receives for a request. Everything after is email. This is policy, not a limitation: texts get read, which is exactly why repeating them burns trust. Requests send from a dedicated notification domain with proper authentication, so your follow-ups land in inboxes instead of spam folders.
Stopping is the feature
Each request carries its own tracking link, so the sequence stops for the right customer even when their Google profile name is different from the name you typed in. A six-month cooldown stops repeat requests to the same person by default. STOP texts and one-click unsubscribes suppress both channels immediately, across your whole business. Asking politely and stopping instantly is the entire philosophy of this feature.
Common questions
How many texts does a customer get?
One, ever, per request. Every follow-up after the first text is email. Blowing up a customer's phone to ask for a review costs more goodwill than the review is worth.
What happens when the customer leaves the review?
The sequence stops on its own. Each request carries its own tracking link, so Respondyr knows the review came from that customer even when their Google name does not match the name you entered.
Can I ask the same customer again later?
Not for six months. A repeat-request cooldown is on by default so regulars are not pestered every visit.
What if a customer opts out?
A STOP text or one-click email unsubscribe suppresses both channels immediately, business-wide. Opt-outs are permanent unless the customer opts back in.
